The Inspection Services Division is vital division to REST which as a whole is dedicated to providing professional research, forensic assessment, structural analysis, energy management, indoor air quality investigation and consulting. Maximizing the synergies of the "Team" which includes a variety certified professionals with years of field experience spanning many different disciplines.This allows REST to meet the many challenges involved in Building Sciences, Energy Management and Indoor Air Quality Issues.

This Division was formerly a stand alone company called, Carolina Building Inspection Services which was established in 1993 under the name North Carolina Home Inspection Services where it earned a reputation as the top inspection company in the Carolinas. They earned this reputation by having the most experienced staff dedicated to Building Sciences and Structural Assessments. In 2005 they joined REST- Real Estate Services Team to become the only full service inspection company in the southeast to offer Mechanical, Structural, Environmental and Energy Management Assessments backed by a full staff of experts in the fields of structural engineering, environmental industrial health and building science.
